Professor Francesco Parisi is Professor of Law at the University of Minnesota, Law School and a Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna, Department of Economics. From 2002 to 2006, he held a Chair in Private Law at the University of Milan (Statale), where he was appointed Professore Ordinario per Chiara Fama. From 1993 to 2006, he taught at George Mason University where he served as Professor of Law & Director of the Law and Economics Program and as an Associate Director of the J.M. Buchanan Center for Political Economy. Professor Parisi received his D.Jur. degree from the University of Rome La Sapienza, an LL.M. and a J.S.D. and an M.A. degree in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Ph.D in Economics from George Mason University |
